TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

1. The tenders should be submitted separately for each item i.e. each NIT number separately in a separate sealed cover addressed to the Director General, Fishery Survey of India, Botawala Chambers, Sir P. M. Road, Fort, Mumbai-400 001 superscribing the name of item and NIT number so as to reach the above addressee, on or before the due date given against each tender. The tenders will be opened at 15.00 hrs. on the last date of tender in the presence of tenderers/ representatives of tenderers. 

2. No separate tender forms are available. Tender may be submitted in company’s/Firm’s Letter Head along with Samples of Light Sticks. 

3. The tender PRICES (FOB) should be valid at least for 180 days from the date of offer and should indicate the terms and conditions of sale. 

4. Incomplete specifications offered by the Tenderer(s) will not be considered and such tenders are liable to be rejected forthwith.

5. An earnest money deposit (EMD) as indicated against each tender in rupees/US $ in the form of a Demand Draft or Deposit at call receipt or Bank guarantee drawn on a Nationalised Bank payable at Mumbai, India in favour of the Director General, Fishery Survey of India, Mumbai, must accompany the Tender.

6. The tender without EMD will not be considered under any circumstances. EMD draft after the due date of tender shall not be accepted in any circumstances.

7. The EMD will be returned to the non-successful tenderers immediately after finalising the case and the EMD furnished by the successful tenderer will be retained for the due performance of the stipulation to keep the offer open and as security deposit till the final supply is materialised. The Govt. shall not be liable for payment of Interest on the MD or any depreciation thereof for the time the said EMD is held by the Govt. 

8. No Tender is considered acceptable, if it is sent through Indian agents or by Fax.

9. FOB price should cover all charges up to despatching at the Air Port. The insurance from warehouse to warehouse and Air Freight will be borne by Fishery Survey of India, Mumbai.

10. Supply of above items should be against the payment terms of “Letter of Credit at sight”

11. Clearance of consignment and payment of custom duty will be arranged by Fishery Survey of India through DGS & D.

12. A Certificate to the effect that “ no Indian or Foreign Agency Commission is included in the price” may please be, furnished together with the quotation.
13. The Director General, Fishery Survey of India, Mumbai, reserves all rights to accept or reject any lowest tenders in full or in parts or any tender or all tenders without assigning any reasons whatsoever.

14. Late/delayed tenders shall not be considered under any circumstances.
